Choosing the right direction for a sports career can be just as important as performance on the field, court or ice. Talented athletes need more than opportunities alone. They need the right guidance, representation, connections and long-term strategy to build a successful career.
March Elite Sports is a Switzerland-based boutique sports advisory and player-management agency supporting football, basketball and ice hockey players across borders and throughout their careers. Its work includes helping European athletes progress within Europe or pursue U.S. college opportunities, as well as supporting North American and other international athletes seeking suitable opportunities in European clubs and leagues at all levels.
What Is March Elite Sports?
March Elite Sports works with athletes who want to take the next step in their sporting careers. The agency combines global scouting expertise with a highly personalized approach, working with a limited number of athletes to provide direct and ongoing support.
Its work covers three major sports: ice hockey, basketball and football. Depending on an athlete's objectives and level, March Elite Athlete representation can help identify development opportunities, explore college pathways, connect with clubs and academies, and provide ongoing career guidance.
The company's boutique model is designed to provide athletes with personal attention rather than treating them as one of many players on a large roster. This approach can be particularly valuable when an athlete is making important decisions about education, professional opportunities, relocation or long-term career development.
Player Representation With a Long-Term Approach
Athlete representation is about more than negotiating an individual opportunity. A successful sports career can involve numerous decisions, from choosing the right team or college to managing career development and evaluating future opportunities.
March Elite Sports provides representation and career management from the athlete’s first major transition through later stages of a professional career. Support may include assessing the athlete’s level and objectives, identifying an appropriate competitive environment, preparing the player’s market positioning, reviewing opportunities and contracts, planning moves between teams, leagues or countries, and reassessing the strategy as the athlete develops.
This means having a dedicated partner who recognises that every player’s situation is different. Rather than applying a standard formula, the agency develops an individual pathway around the athlete’s objectives, playing level, potential, education and preferred markets.
U.S. College Recruitment for International Student-Athletes
For young athletes, the transition from youth or academy sport to higher-level competition can be challenging. A U.S. college pathway can combine competitive sport with higher education, but the right choice depends on the athlete’s academic profile, playing level, location preferences, finances and long-term career objectives.
March Elite Sports supports athletes exploring NCAA and NAIA opportunities across different competitive levels. The process begins with an assessment of the athlete’s sporting background, academic situation, objectives and potential, followed by the identification of programmes and environments that offer a realistic fit.
For athletes and families, effective college-pathway support should provide structure throughout the recruitment process while considering more than athletic performance alone. The quality of the education, likely sporting role, standard of competition, financial implications and opportunities beyond college should all form part of the decision.
Rather than treating college placement as an isolated objective, March Elite Sports helps suitable athletes consider how a U.S. college experience can contribute to their broader development and longer-term sporting career.
Playing in Europe: Support for North American and International Players
For American, Canadian and other international athletes, playing in Europe can offer valuable sporting and professional opportunities. However, a successful move requires more than sending a highlight video to clubs. Athletes need to understand which countries, leagues and competition levels fit their profile, how clubs build their rosters, and what role they can realistically earn.
Effective overseas representation should also consider contract terms, registration requirements, accommodation, relocation, language and cultural adaptation. The objective is not simply to secure an initial placement, but to identify an environment that supports playing time, development and the athlete’s next career step.
Professional Player Representation
Players who are already competing at an advanced level may have different needs from developing student athletes. Career planning, club opportunities, contracts and long-term professional development can become increasingly important.
March Elite Sports offers professional athlete representation and player management services designed to support athletes as they progress through their careers. The agency provides career management and strategic guidance, helping players navigate important professional decisions.
For players and athetes seeking an athlete management agency, this can include support in evaluating opportunities and planning the next stage of a career. The objective is to create a structured pathway rather than making isolated decisions based solely on the next available opportunity.
Football and Soccer Player Representation
Football and soccer players face an increasingly international marketplace, with opportunities spanning clubs, academies, college programs and different countries.
March Elite Sports provides football player representation as part of its wider athlete management and representation services. For athletes looking for a football player agent or soccer player agent, the agency's approach combines scouting, placement, representation and strategic advisory.
Whether an athlete is looking toward a U.S. college pathway, club environment or another international opportunity in Europe, the focus is on identifying the environment that best supports the player's development and objectives.
For European players considering opportunities outside their home country, international guidance can also be particularly important. A Football Agent can help players understand potential pathways while taking their individual career goals into account.
Basketball Player Representation
Basketball players can face similarly important decisions throughout their development, from academy and youth competition to college and professional basketball.
March Elite Sports provides basketball player representation and athlete management for players looking to develop their careers. Its services can include scouting, placement, representation and strategic advisory support.
Athletes searching for a basketball player agent can benefit from a personalized approach that considers both immediate opportunities and longer-term development. For players interested in European opportunities, March Elite Sports also provides an international perspective relevant to those searching for a Basketball Agent.
Hockey Player Representation and Management
Ice hockey is another core sport represented by March Elite Sports. The agency provides scouting, placement, representation and management services for hockey players looking to develop their careers.
For players looking for a hockey player agent, professional guidance can be valuable when evaluating clubs, development environments and international opportunities.
March Elite Sports also operates from Switzerland, making its services relevant to players based in Switzerland, France or Germany..
The agency's international approach allows players to consider opportunities beyond their immediate local environment while maintaining personalized career support.
Sports Agent and Contract Negotiation
As athletes progress into professional sport, contracts and career decisions can become increasingly complex. A Sports Agent may play an important role in helping athletes evaluate opportunities and manage their professional careers.
Contract negotiation for players is one area where professional representation can provide valuable guidance. Players need to understand the implications of their agreements, career opportunities and longer-term development before making important decisions.
March Elite Sports approaches player representation as part of broader career management rather than as an isolated service. Its stated representation model includes supporting athletes through key career decisions and professional development.
A Boutique Sports Agency in Switzerland
One of the defining characteristics of March Elite Sports is its boutique model. The agency intentionally works with a limited number of athletes, allowing its team to provide direct and ongoing support.
For athletes searching for a boutique sports agency, this approach can provide an alternative to large-scale representation models.
March Elite Sports describes itself as an independent boutique sports advisory and player management agency based in Switzerland. Its international network is combined with personalized service, creating a model focused on individual athletes and their specific objectives.
This is particularly relevant for athletes who want direct communication and a long-term relationship with their representation team.
Player Representation With a Long-Term Approach

Switzerland is an important base for March Elite Sports and its international sports network. Swiss players can work with a sports management agency that combines local expertise with international opportunities.
The agency's Swiss base also supports its work across ice hockey, basketball and football, while its broader network allows athletes to explore opportunities beyond Switzerland.
For athletes considering an international career, having representation that understands both the local and international sporting landscape can help create a more structured approach to career planning.
Player Representation With a Long-Term Approach

Effective athlete management involves looking beyond the next game or contract. Athletes need to consider development, education, career progression and the environments in which they can perform at their best.
March Elite Sports provides advisory services to athletes, families, clubs and organizations. These services are designed to provide strategic insights and tailored solutions around development, education and career direction.
This broader approach makes March Elite Sports more than an agency focused solely on player transactions. Its model brings together athlete management, scouting, placement, representation and advisory services.

2. Player Evaluation
The team evaluates the athlete's current level and potential.

4. Connect With Opportunities
Where there is a suitable fit, the agency supports the player’s positioning, introductions, discussions, evaluation of opportunities and key decisions. Representation is presented as a selective process and should not imply a guaranteed placement or contract.
5. Ongoing Career Management
